Evidence1: The Gingerbread Man Lesson Plan
Rationale 1: This lesson plan was developed for my Kindergarten reading class. The purpose of this lesson was to help my students identify characters, sequence and summarize the story, distinguish between fantasy and realism through the use technology to listen to and recreate their favorite part of the story. This evidence is important to me because it demonstrates my knowledge of how to create a lesson using 21st century skills. It shows how I can incorporate these skills into a lesson to help motivate and engage students in their learning through the use of technology. Through the use of iPods (with appropriate apps) and computers with the Kid Pix Studio Deluxe Three software, the students will develop their 21st Century Skills.
